It's very beautiful, but I have to say it's really only in the animation that its full awesomeness can be apreciated, with the fluidity of the movements, all the ducking and folding and wriggling limbs. Even these few seconds qualify this as one of the most beautiful things I've seen on DA

That is an awesome animation man. What reference did you use to get the movements of the creature ? The snappy movements of the creatures' head as it looks around looks real sweet.

I didn't use a ton of reference for the motion (probably should have), but I was thinking a lot about Dragonflies and the weird way they pivot their heads.
